About UTM SPACE and collaboration with Top Skills College
Top Skills College’s certifications are great certified by the organization of UTM SPACE. UTM SPACE There are diverse types of courses offered by the college for professional certificates, diploma, degree level and so on. As one of the top ranked universities in Malaysia and technology-driven research University, UTM is well known for its engineering courses and expertise in technological knowledge. UTM SPACE is known as the School of Professional and Continuing Education. It is one of the schools that offers and performs teaching and learning programmes. UTM SPACE had been launched since July 1993 and this schools acts as a specialized centre for the implementation of lifelong learning programmes at the university level.
The programmes offered by SPACE are UTM academic programmes that subjected to UTM academic regulations which includes full time foundation programme, full time and part time diploma programme, full time and part time degree programme. Besides, UTM SPACE also provides joint/collaboration programmes. The programmes are conducted with the collaboration with private colleges across Malaysia. Top Skills College is one of the private colleges that collaborate with UTM SPACE. Besides, UTM SPACE offers the Transnational programmes which give SPACE responsibility to implement UTM academic programmes through franchise, approach, offshore, or hybrid mode. In collaboration and cooperation with UTM SPACE, Top skills College follows the vision and mission of UTM SPACE which is to be an international centre of excellence in Lifelong Learning; To provide quality continuing education programmes that are widely accessible, customized, and flexible to meet customer expectations. There are total of three types study mode which TOP Skills College offered to students which includes hybrid, online and face-to-face lessons to ease the students conveniency.
After completing the vocational programmes, students are given high potential to further study from skills-based to academic based programmes such as Bachelor’s degree of related field.
Roadmap
There are a total of two pathways for different selection of studies such as Vocational programmes and Academic Programmes. For Vocational programme, the entry level does not require SPM certificate and should complete the path from professional certificate to professional master’s degree with various collaboration among private universities. The mode of study for vocational programmes are conducted in online, physical and hybrid mode.
On the other hand, the entry level of academic programme is SPM required and the pathway will start from the foundation level until master’s degree. However, this academic programme is conducted in online mode of study to ease student’s convenience from all around the country.
Besides that, Top Skills college has also offered a STEM Programme for lower secondary school students.
For international students, two types of the programmes mentioned above are also available and all are welcomed to apply.
